TERMS & CONDITIONS
* We are confident that our Birthing Pools leave our premises in perfect working order. You must follow all the assembly, filling and operating instructions.
* It is the responsibility of you, the hirer, to ensure the safety of all those involved in the use of the pool and to make sure that the building in which the pool is placed is suitable for the purpose, e.g. is weatherproof and can take the weight of the pool. Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we do not accept liability for any consequential loss or damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which may arise out of or in connection with the hiring and use of one of our pools.
*We make no claim as to the medical or other benefits from the use of our pools and remind all those using them that it is their own decision as to whether the pool is appropriate for their particular use or desire.
*In the event of a cancellation less than 2 weeks before the beginning of the hire date, we reserve the right to charge the full hire fee.
* If the pool is returned before the end of the hire period no refund will be made. This is due to the fact that the 5-week hire period is reserved for you. If baby is born on day one, and you no longer wish to use the pool after the delivery, it can be returned earlier but no refund is made.
* The pool must remain at the address given overleaf and in your possession unless otherwise agreed by us. You are responsible for the pool during the duration of the hire period.
* Any fault or failure of the pool must be reported to us immediately and no attempt must be made to repair it without our authorisation. We are responsible for repairing or replacing any faulty part providing it has not been misused or intentionally damaged. If the pool is rendered unusable for more than 24 hours as a result of a failure then a refund of the hire charge for however many days it is unusable will be made. If a fault causes the pool to be unusable for the birth itself then a full refund will be made.
* We wish to make it clear that the pool has a capital value. This means that if for any reason you cannot return it at the end of the hire period or damage to the pool is irreparable, we will purchase a new pool, for which you will be charged the full cost. Furthermore, the hire period will extend until we have purchased a new pool and it is ready to hire out. This also applies to damage to the pool. We will charge you for the cost of repairs and the hire period will continue until the repairs are complete.
* Please make sure that you clean and dry all of the items before returning them. We disinfect and sterilise all re-usable items upon their return but we are not liable for cleaning items. If we have to clean items of stains/ marks etc… you will be charged a cleaning fee of £25.00 that will be deducted form the damage retainer. If the pool is in the same clean, working condition as it was when it was loaned to you the retainer will be returned to you in full.
* Under NO circumstances should the pool be used without a liner. If you decide to use the pool for relaxation purposes, either pre or post birth, you MUST use a liner. If it is found that the pool has been used without a liner, you will be charged for the cost of a new pool.
* NOTE: The pool and surrounding area will be slippery when wet. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure your safety, and those around you, at all times. We will not accept any liability for accidents that occur in and around the pool during your usage.
